Bespoke window frames - great work ethic - "I challenged Mark with making me bespoke windows for the front of my cattery house. You will see from my photos the original wooden window frames were not fit for purpose and made my building look unkept. Mark took on the challenge (thankfully) and created fantastic windows using flat bar and acrylic. He fitted the windows perfectly and I absolutely love them. Absolute professional and a credit to his trade - Mark at Albaweld genuinely saved the day for me. I was left stranded after my tyre went due to a serious crack in the alloy and thought I was in for a nightmare. I gave Mark a call and he couldn’t have been more helpful. He went completely out of his way — came out to my local area, took the wheel off for me, repaired the cracked alloy, and even arranged to get a tyre fitted. All of this without a single complaint, no huffs, no moaning — just pure, top-class customer service. It’s rare you come across someone who goes that far above and beyond to help. Mountain bike repair exceeded my wildest expectation - "I brought my mountain bike frame (DH/Enduro) to the workshop with a critical and very serious fracture on the lower chainstay/seatstay tube, right by the main suspension pivot point. The crack was substantial and made the bike completely unusable (see photos). It was a total nightmare! I opted for a professional welding repair, and the result has exceeded my wildest expectations. The workshop demonstrated absolute professionalism and expertise. Quality of Work: The weld is clean, even, and significantly reinforced. It appears they used a specialist reinforcement technique to distribute the stress and ensure the frame is now more durable than before. After the repair, the bike’s structure has regained its full integrity, which is crucial for extreme off-road riding. The difference between the 'before' photos of the fractured frame and the 'after' pictures speaks for itself – this is top-class craftsmanship. Furthermore, the turnaround time was surprisingly fast and the pricing was very fair for such specialist structural work. Quality product and quality service - "Stop searching for someone to work on your project and give Albaweld a shout. You'll not be disappointed. The mounts Mark made me are spot on, could not be happier with them. He and his colleagues are the kind of folk that will go out their way to provide a quality product and a quality service. I reached out to Albaweld to make some mounts for a headboard to attach to loft-bed. Mark was super communicative throughout the whole process. He provided me with a better material than I requested at a discounted rate because he had it in stock already, even though it made no real difference to the design. As the mounts were quite small, I was going to paint them myself. Not only did Mark deliver them to my address himself because he was going to be in the area, but he had his painter paint them for me and didn't charge me anything for it! Why? He told me 'I saw your address was a flat, so I thought you wouldn't want to be spray painting'. Custom Car Seat Chair - looks fabulous, beautiful fabricated frame - "Found Albaweld by chance on Etsy whilst trying to find a fabricator to incorporate a car seat into a frame to make an armchair. Emailed a couple of companies that provide this service and got no response from either. Mark at Albaweld answered my emails/questions promptly and I sent him some dimensions of the height and width of the frame. He fabricated a beautiful stainless frame incorporating an Alfa Romeo half leather seat with stainless arms. Seat is fully adjustable as a car seat is and the front legs on the frame are also adjustable. It looks fabulous and the comfort for me is fantastic. No more sitting on a wooden garden chair due to a back injury watching tv for me. Wife was so impressed she's thinking of getting a 3 seater set up instead of the sofa. Amazing quality, excellent customer service - "Thank you to Mark for the excellent customer service and for the amazing quality of my brackets. I had previously went to another company and after waiting for four weeks I hadn`t even got a call back with a price for the brackets. Contacted ALBAWELD, took my bike over on Saturday at 4 o`clock, got a WhatsApp on Tuesday afternoon letting me know the brackets were ready. I went over and Mark fitted them. I ride a Moto Guzzi V7 Special which is an Italian made bike where the finish is very high quality ( not including the somewhat quirky electrics and engingeering ) but they do know how to make them look great. The brackets made by Mark are very high quality and look great on the bike. I got a good and fair price from ALBAWELD and a recommendation for Powder Coating. The car seat is still fully functionable so I can adjust the height, lumber support, chair back and it slides back and forth on the frame.
